clothing for hire. If it's your first trip or if you have
children who are growing fast, then hiring skiwear makes
a lot of financial sense.

When should I book my ski hire clothing?
During the ski season there is always a high demand for our
range of ski hire clothing. As a result we would always advise
that you book as early as possible to avoid disappointment.
Do I have to visit AC Sports to hire ski clothing?
If possible we would always advise you come to our Wigan shop.
That way we can ensure you get the right items in the correct
sizes. However, we do also provide an online hire service -
either complete our convenient Hire
Order Form or download a pdf
version of the Form and post or fax it back to
us. You can also phone us your measurements and requirements
on 01942 216537.
What's the hire period?
If your skiing trip is for a week (normally Saturday to Saturday),
the clothes can be booked out to you for a maximum of 3-weeks.
This allows for collection/delivery 1 week prior to your holiday,
7 days skiing and return up to 1 week after your trip. If you
are planning to ski for more than 7 days then the cost of hire
will include an additional week.
What about payment?
We require payment at time of booking by either credit/debit
card or by cheque. If you are booking online using our Web Order
Form we will contact you for payment once we receive your details.
If you prefer, complete our PDF version of the Order Form, providing
your payment details.
Are there delivery charges?
If your hiring online or by mail order there is a small delivery
charge depending on the weight of your order. It is also your
responsibilty to return the clothes, within the designated time
period, cleaned and at your cost.
Should I hire or should I buy?
The savings on buying skiwear are still considerable,
particularly for a family of first-time skiiers.
What about other ski clothing and accessories?
You can buy a range of items from our shop at very competitve
prices. Such as Hats, Goggles, Gloves and Socks. We even provide
Lift Pass Holders, Ski Ties, Lip Salve and Sun Cream. Click
