CLUB TRIPS 2009

Happy New Year !! Hopefully you have been waiting patiently for next season's trips so here they are! Please note that due to a change of policy by the Tour Operators we cannot hold places like we used to, so if you want to secure your place, please let us have your £95 per person deposit as soon as possible.

SAALBACH/ HINTERGLEMM, AUSTRIA 10th JANUARY 2009

Departing on Saturday 10th January 2009,  John and Debbie will be taking this trip to Saalbach. We will be staying in the Hotel Riegler and the cost of the trip is £659 which includes Manchester flight, half board twin room accommodation and LIFT PASS. We have been to Saalbach several times and always enjoyed it so we are going back. The links between the various sectors are snow cannoned which makes this a very extensive area which is snow sure and ideal for all standards of skiers. A deposit of £120 per person is required to confirm your place.

SCHLADMING , AUSTRIA 28th FEBRUARY 2009

Departing on Saturday 28th January 2009,  Dave and Sheila will be taking this trip to Schladming and staying in the Hotel Rossl which has a central location just minutes from the nearest lift.  Schladming is one of the biggest and best ski areas in Austria offering beginners superb conditions at the top of the Planai gondola and advanced skiers can enjoy Schladming's World Cup run. Access to the Dachstein glacier ensures that Schladming is a snow sure bet.  The price of £759 includes means nd the cost of the trip is £659 which includes Manchester flight,  LIFT PASS and half board twin room acoommodation.A deposit of £120 per person is required to confirm your place.

SECOND HAND BOOTS AND SKIS

We have quite a few items (mainly boots) of second hand equipment for sale. Having your own gear saves you money compared to hiring the gear when abroad and can be a big help to families with growing children. Either phone or call into A.C.Sports to find out what's on offer. Similarly if you have any second hand equipment you want to sell, just let us know. No Antiques Roadshow items please

STANDING ORDER FORMS

Lots of club members have asked if they could spread the cost of a holiday by setting up a standing order arrangement. No problem. A Standing order form is enclosed for your use. Just complete the details stating how much you want to pay each month and return the form to us. We will do the rest.

SKI SERVICING

Keep rust out! Don't let those edges become pitted with rust. Why not let Wax Boy service them for you in readiness for the season season. A full service and hot waxing costs members just £10 per pair. Keep Wax Boy happy!
